DAVENPORT — Services for Deborah Lee Jeys, 43, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary and Crematory, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Jeys died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1997, at her home.
She was employed as a dental assistant, working for Dr. Michael Beck and Dr. Richard Collins. She also had worked earlier for Dr. Mack.
She was born April 3, 1954, in Keosauqua, Iowa, to Richard Lee and Louise (McCarty) Orndoff. Deborah Orndoff married Perry “Joe” Jeys on Oct. 28, 1972, in Davenport.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, including cross stitching. She especially enjoyed helping all 16 years of dance recitals of her daughter Emily. She was a member of the Johnson School PTA and the West High Booster Club.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include her husband, Perry “Joe” Jeys; a daughter, Emily, at home; a son, Andrew Jeys, Ames, Iowa; a brother, Kenny Orndoff, Birmingham, Iowa; and her grandmother, Pearl McCarty, Douds, Iowa.
