July, 3, 2011 | Sign the Guestbook | Email AnnouncementZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — Michael “Mike” Radech, 57, formerly of Davenport, Iowa, died at his home in Zephyrhills, Fla., Wednesday, June 22, 2011, following a long and hard-fought battle with cancer.
Mike was born on December 3, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Richard “Dick” and Lenora “Punky” Radech. Mike graduated from Central High School in 1972 and the University of Northern Iowa in 1976.
Mike was an outstanding athlete in grade school, junior high and high school, and in college went on to become a champion swimmer and diver.
Mike was the owner/operator of the Wall Doctor in Zephyrhills, Fla. He enjoyed golfing, swimming and traveling in his spare time.
Mike will be remembered as a loving husband, father, wonderful brother and a good friend to many. He had a great sense of humor, was always kind and thoughtful to others and was always willing to help family and friends in need. He will live forever in our hearts.
Mike is survived by his wife, Penny; son, Ryan; sister, Barbara Radech, The Villages, Fla.; and brothers, Don (Paula), Davenport, Iowa, Bob (Emily), Lost Nation, Iowa, and Ron, Zephyrhills, Fla.

Mike was married to Dave Huff’s wife (Kathy O’Dette) cousin, Penny.  He had a son, Ryan.
